The Y hosts weekly meals in partnership with the Ronald United Methodist Church. Volunteers support meal program by filling multiple roles assisting with meal prep, setup, dishwashing, breakdown, cleaning, and facilitating. Partial shifts are welcome! The entrance to the kitchen is in the back of the church, down a ramp from the parking lot across from Hopelink and the Ronald Commons Apartments. The door is usually propped open but if it's locked please knock loudly.

YMCA Earth Service Corps has been supporting environmental service projects and leadership development for over twenty years. We have the knowledge and experience to help teens, clubs and schools reach new heights, develop youth leaders and create meaningful change in the community. Teens meet weekly to take on the environmental issues facing their communities and create projects to address these needs. Club meetings take place before, during or after school. Meetings can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours and are led by youth leaders, YMCA staff and Teacher Advisors.

For some kids, school is the only place they are sure to get a meal. The Y is working to change that. Help us prepare backpack meals for kids who identify as being homeless in our community. Bags are filled with food that is child-friendly, nutritious, non-perishable, and easy to eat. Help us develop a sustainable program that will serve youth.
