Coal Creek Family YMCA

For some kids, school is the only place they are sure to get a meal. The Y is working to change that. Help us prepare backpack meals for kids who identify as being homeless in our community. Bags are filled with food that is child-friendly, nutritious, non-perishable, and easy to eat. Help us develop a sustainable program that will serve youth. Coal Creek Family YMCA

Sports Sampler is the perfect introduction to team sports! In this monthly program, we will feature a new sport each week, teaching basic skills and components through a variety of fun drills and games. Volunteer coaches will focus on building teamwork, body control and hand-eye coordination. Introduce our youngest athletes to different sports. Help youth aged 3-5 develop their skills of hand-eye coordination, strength, and sportsmanship. Minimum volunteer age: 13+ 14+, 15+, 16+, 17+, 18+, 19+, 20+, and 21+

Coal Creek Family YMCA Youth Basketball - Rookies

Coal Creek Family YMCA

In this recreational youth basketball league, players learn the fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy habits while sharpening skills, practicing drills and having fun. Teams are formed by YMCA staff after a skills showcase. We practice once per week and play games on the weekend, but we don't keep score, it's all about fun and learning! All teams are led by volunteer coaches. Volunteer age requirement: 14+, 16+, 18+ (position dependent) 14+, 15+, 16+, 17+, 18+, 19+, 20+, and 21+

Coal Creek Family YMCA Youth Volleyball - Spikers

Coal Creek Family YMCA

Players in 6th to 8th grades celebrate the love of the game in this youth volleyball league. Spikers focus on fine tuning the game, practicing teamwork and building on fundamental skills of spiking, setting, blocking and serving through fun drills. This league is open to all genders. Teams practice once per week and play games on the weekend, including home games and games against other YMCAs in the region. All teams are led by volunteer coaches. Volunteer age requirement: 14+ or 18+ (Role dependent) 15+, 16+, 17+, 18+, 19+, 20+, and 21+

Dale Turner Family YMCA

The Y hosts weekly meals in partnership with the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Volunteers would support meal program by assisting with meal prep, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and facilitating. The entrance to the kitchen is in the front of the church, down a ramp to the right if you're looking at the main front doors. The door is usually unlocked but if it's locked please knock loudly. The Y hosts weekly meals in partnership with the Ronald United Methodist Church. Volunteers would support meal program by assisting with meal prep, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and facilitating. The entrance to the kitchen is in the back of the church, down a ramp from the parking lot. The door is usually propped open but if it's locked please knock loudly. Snoqualmie Valley YMCA Youth T-Ball - Minis

Snoqualmie Valley YMCA

Minis t-ball is the perfect introduction to baseball for kids age 3 to 5! It is an instructional and recreational 8-class youth t-ball league designed for preschoolers to have fun while learning rules and skills of the game. Kids practice the fundamentals of t-ball like throwing and catching the ball, batting off the tee, and in most cases, going the right way around the baseball diamond through fun drills and games. The focus in this league is on inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship and building confidence. Minis don't play official games or keep score, it's all about fun and learning! All teams are co-ed and led by YMCA staff. This league requires parental involvement to help encourage the most fun and participation. Practices with scrimmages are held once per week. Minimum Volunteer Age: 13+ 14+, 15+, 16+, 17+, 18+, 19+, 20+, and 21+

Get involved in your community and enjoy the health benefits of volunteering! Weeding and watering opportunities are available throughout the year. Through these organic gardens, we will donate fresh veggies to the local food banks or for use in our Y programs! This volunteer opportunity has flexible hours and is family friendly. Volunteers will work with lead volunteer Henry and staff to set their schedule and determine specific tasks. Volunteer age requirement: 14+
