YMCA Earth Service Corps has been supporting environmental service projects and leadership development for over twenty years. We have the knowledge and experience to help teens, clubs and schools reach new heights, develop youth leaders and create meaningful change in the community. Teens meet weekly to take on the environmental issues facing their communities and create projects to address these needs. Club meetings take place before, during or after school. Meetings can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours and are led by youth leaders, YMCA staff and Teacher Advisors.

Minis & Kinders Soccer is an instructional and recreational 8-class soccer program for preschoolers and Kindergarteners (ages 3–6). Volunteer coaches help introduce young players to the basics of soccer in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Coaches lead age-appropriate drills, skill-building activities, and simple scrimmages that focus on fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and learning to move the right direction on the court or field. There are no official games or scorekeeping — the emphasis is on participation, confidence-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship. All teams are co-ed and supported by YMCA staff. Practices with scrimmages are held once per week, indoors or outdoors depending on the season. Coaches are encouraged to create a positive experience for every participant and to work collaboratively with parents, particularly for Kindergarten-aged players, to support engagement and fun. No prior coaching experience is required. Training, resources, and ongoing support are provided by the YMCA.

YMCA T-ball programs are designed to help players learn basic skills such as batting, catching, throwing, and the rules of the game. All kids are encouraged to play by getting equal chances to bat, run bases, and play in the field. In this recreational youth flag football league, players learn the fundamentals of flag football, sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy habits while sharpening skills, practicing drills and having fun. Flag football means there is no contact or tackling. All genders are invited to play! Teams practice once per week and play games on the weekend against other Ys in the region. Support the YMCA BOLD & GOLD program through a variety of hands-on, outdoor, and behind-the-scenes volunteer opportunities. Program support may include helping with trip preparation, gear repair, curriculum development, fundraising, and supporting single-day or multi-day outdoor experiences such as backpacking, camping, snowshoeing, day hikes, paddling, and rock climbing. We are seeking licensed RNs and physicians to volunteer and assist with medical needs during our overnight camp. Main duties may include need to monitor and administer medications, review health records, monitor concerns and alerts as provided by participants prior to arrival at camp, provide additional medical care as needed for group while at camp, maintain accessibility through radio and/or cell phone. Qualifications: The volunteer must be a licensed healthcare professional, such as a nurse, nurse practitioner, doctor or physician’s assistant. Minimum Volunteer Age: 21+

Support young chefs as they learn, create, and build confidence in the kitchen! Volunteer Class Helpers assist YMCA instructors during hands-on cooking classes for children ages 3–13. Responsibilities may include helping set up and clean up materials, supporting small groups during activities, encouraging participation, assisting with simple kitchen tasks, and helping reinforce kitchen safety and positive behavior.
