Bellevue Family YMCA

Our youth basketball league helps players develop fundamental skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, teamwork, and sportsmanship through fun, age-appropriate drills and activities. Teams are formed by YMCA staff, with weekly practices and weekend games or scrimmages depending on the level. Led by supportive coaches and Y staff, the program focuses on building confidence, fostering inclusion, and creating a positive, enjoyable basketball experience for every player.

Bellevue Family YMCA

In this recreational youth volleyball league, players learn the fundamentals of volleyball, sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy habits while sharpening skills like spiking, setting and serving, practicing drills and having fun. This league is open to all genders. Teams practice once per week and play games on the weekend, including home games and games against other YMCAs in the region. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.

Our Juniors League lets youth in 3rd to 6th grades take their skills to the next level and experience constructive competition. Players in this youth basketball league continue to build skills like dribbling, shooting, passing and begin learning basketball plays through fun drills. Teams are formed by YMCA staff. We practice once per week and play games on the weekend, including home games and games against other YMCAs in the region. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.

Bellevue Family YMCA

Minis basketball is the perfect introduction to the sport for ages 3 to 5! It is an instructional and recreational 8 class program designed for preschoolers to have fun while learning rules and skills of the game. Kids practice the fundamentals of basketball like dribbling, shooting, passing and in most cases, going the right way down the court through fun drills and games. The focus in this program is on inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship and building confidence. Minis don't play official games or keep score, it's all about fun and learning! All teams are co-ed and led by YMCA staff. This league requires parental involvement to help encourage the most fun and participation. Practices with scrimmages are held once per week.

Bellevue Family YMCA

Kinders basketball is an instructional and recreational 8-class youth basketball program designed for Kindergarteners, ages 5 and 6, to have fun while learning rules and skills of the game. Kids practice the fundamentals of basketball like dribbling, shooting, passing, and in most cases, going the right way down the court through fun drills and games. The focus in this program is on inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building confidence. Kinders do not play official games or keep score; it is all about fun and learning! All teams are co-ed and led by Y staff. Practices with scrimmages are held once per week. Each player gets a Y uniform top to wear on and off the court.
