Snoqualmie Valley YMCA
Our Juniors League lets youth in 3rd to 6th grades take their skills to the next level and experience constructive competition. Players in this youth basketball league continue to build skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, and begin learning basketball plays through fun drills. Teams are formed by YMCA staff. We practice once per week and play games on the weekend, including home games and games against other YMCAs in the region. All teams are led by volunteer coaches.

Minis basketball is the perfect introduction to the sport for ages 3 to 5! It is an instructional and recreational 8 class program designed for preschoolers to have fun while learning rules and skills of the game. Kids practice the fundamentals of basketball like dribbling, shooting, passing and in most cases, going the right way down the court through fun drills and games. The focus in this program is on inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship and building confidence. Minis don't play official games or keep score, it's all about fun and learning! All teams are co-ed and led by YMCA staff. This league requires parental involvement to help encourage the most fun and participation. Practices with scrimmages are held once per week.
